Gareth Pugh was the second designer I researched, I really like his complex and daring designs and the way he rebelled against the current fashion trends. He also used various materials and media to create his garments and showed a really original style.

As you can see here he seems to have used what looks like black and white arm bands, they are used in the areas in which he wanted to create volume within the garment so he's used this type of media instead of using metal frames or material. He also created a pyramid type garment as well which was really sharp and angled and looked really effective on the catwalk.
